My name is Leo Kamen. I am the former owner and director of the Leo Kamen Gallery in Toronto. After some thirty years as an art dealer, I closed my gallery in 2011. In 2015 I moved to Montreal. I turned my attention to writing, and to consulting with artists in their studios about their work. My website, kamenconsultant.com, lays out the specifics of what I do and how I do it. In 2010 I published my memoir, Rolling the Bones. Since then I have written two novels, and a nonfiction book titled, Basic Shit: On Being an Artist in the 21st Century. All three books are presently looking for a publisher.
