Camila Fitzgibbon

Camila Fitzgibbon is a Brazllian theatre actor, writer, director, producer, and journalist currently based in Montreal.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Montreal Theatre Hub and Theatre Contributor to Global TV's Montreal Morning News show, her work in providing media coverage to the local performing arts scene was recognized by the Canadian Theatre Critics' Association in 2019 for a Nathan Cohen Award in the category of Outstanding Emerging Critic.

Since graduating from John Abbott College's Professional Theatre Acting program in 2019 – where she is recipient of the 2019 Pamela Montgomery Award and the 2017 Carla Napier Award – she has worked with Montreal companies that include Geordie Theatre, Repercussion Theatre, Tableau D'Hôte Theatre, Shakespeare Canada, Persephone Productions, Snowglobe Theatre, In the Wings Promotions, Just Right Productions, FIMIIDO, and Home Theatre Productions. Professional acting credits also include performances in film, television, video game, and voice over. In community service, Camila is a member of the Quebec Drama Federation's Communications Committee, the Conseil québécois du théâtre's Digital Strategy Committee, and numerous boards of theatre companies across the province.
