Bringing together 30 artists and poets, curators and participants Carolyn Boll and Holly Friesen have woven together the show Poetic Notions. An exhibition of 15 collaborative works created through the pairings of one visual artist with one poet, they bring us thought-provoking notions of the power of both poetry and art— collaborations that weave together creativity, vision and voice in surprising, courageous and illuminating ways.

The Poetic Notions poets are Carolyn Boll, Stephanie Bolster, Annie Bruno, Melissa Bull, Madeleine Caritas longan, Moe Clark, Sue Elmslie, Sheryl Halpern, Emmy Huot, Victoria Leblanc, Melanie Mitzner, Elizabeth Paulette-Coughlin, Rae Marie Taylor, Blossom Thom, Carolyne Van Der Meer.

The Poetic Notions visual artists are Suzanne Blouin, Arielle Côte, Holly Friesen, Kathryn Cabinet-Kroo, Jennifer Goddard, Nicke Gorney, Lydia Haywood-Mun, Rachelle Marcoux, Theresa Passarello, Mary Perchanok, Sue Rusk, Gabby Scope, Kathryn Shriver, Susanne Strater, and Wendy Thomas.
