Catherine Preston

Cat Preston (they/she) is an interdisciplinary artist, arts advocate and administrator with a background in theatre, spoken word, photography, video production and graphic design. 

They trained in both John Abbott College's Theatre Workshop program ('16) as well as Concordia University's Acting for the Theatre BFA ('19) and has performed with companies such as Bread & Puppet Theatre and DaiBao. Collective creation and musical theatre are particular niches of interest. 

While pursuing graduate studies in Communications, they served on QDF’s communications committee from May 2019 until November of 2020 when she transitioned into the position of Communications Coordinator. 

Cat has also had the opportunity to pursue administrative, communications and marketing work with companies such as DaiBao Productions, The St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival, Creative Green Tools Canada, Watermark Theatre and more.
