Born in Saskatchewan, I'm a photographic artist and educator who has been living in Montreal since 2010. I have a BFA in photography from Paris VIII and am currently completing an MA in Art Education at Concordia University. While I was in France I was a contributing editor at LensCulture and was published by Editions de la Martinière. My research explores the notion of material agency and collaborative creation between artist and materials using camera-less and alternative photographic processes. I'm particularly interested in the revival of darkroom photography with a new generation of young digital natives.
