Creating Hype Around Your Art (Social Media)

Some may say that it’s not what you’re selling, but how you sell it.

Marketing and creating “hype” around a product or service has gone through many (r)evolutions over the course of the last decade and as an artist, you need to be armed with the pivotal steps and essential tools in order to thrive in this ever-changing digital landscape.

This workshop is all about learning to market yourself as an artist and promote your artwork using smart actionable communication strategies. We will go through various current methodologies such as understanding digital content, creating campaign objectives, applying marketing funnels, developing communication plans, and more, all leading to the launch of your new project.

Speaker: Patrick Baylan | Digital Marketing Specialist, What’s Up Montreal
